Staying busy in the spring and summer months
Volunteers at Wycombe Marsh Community Environment Group (WMCEG) have been busy over the last few months with summer planting alongside our usual litter picking activities.
In addition to our scheduled litter picks, earlier this year we were joined by staff from Buckinghamshire Council Waste Team for a litter pick along Gomm Road and in July we will be welcoming staff from Red Kite Community Housing for a clean up of the area around the Meadway, Kingsmead Road/Abbey Barn Road.

Want to join a litter pick?
The litter picking dates for July, August and September are now available as events on our Facebook page and everyone is welcome to come along and help keep Wycombe Marsh and Micklefield clean.
All bags and equipment are supplied and you can join any of our picks and stay as long as you like.
We shall shortly be ordering bulbs and seeds for planting in the Autumn which will flower next Spring, so if you fancy getting involved, please do get in touch and we will keep you updated on when and where we will be planting.
